Actors in ViV! - proudly supported by Suppoya Bathurst

ViV! Children’s Theatre Production 2025

In August 2025 Suppoya proudly supported Arts OutWest to stage a children’s theatre show about an adventurous, tough and sassy girl who lives with a disability and her little sister Lil. The show featured local performers who belong to Bathurst Memorial Entertainment Centre’s (BMEC) inclusive arts program Compareo.

ViV! allowed children and young people with disabilities and their families to see themselves represented on stage. It addresses the gap in representation of children with disabilities in Australian children’s theatre.

Suppoya supported the project by providing free tickets and free transport on our buses for local school children. ViV! was hugely successful and Arts OutWest hope to tour the show in the near future.

Accessible Artistry

Suppoya enhances the lives of people with a disability through programs like Accessible Artistry.jpg

During 2025 Suppoya partnered with Arts OutWest to deliver a 12-week Accessible Artistry Workshop for talented adult artists who live with a range of disabilities.

The program was so successful it’s being run again in 2026, this time for 20 weeks!

Lead by four local professional artists the participants create exploratory artworks working across mixed media and animation which will culminate in an exhibition of the works at CSU later this year.

The workshops are fun, challenging and inspire participants to use their creative talents to enhance their lives and to build new friendships through art.
